Cheltenham Gold Cup Day Out
My first time ever at the races was a brilliant day out; stands packed with thousands of excited race lovers and the Gold Cup Day at Cheltenham certainly did not disappoint.
The atmosphere was electric and when I won on the first race I thought the luck of the Irish (being St Patricks Day) was well with me.
It didn’t roll that way, but it didn’t matter, it was just so much fun placing the bets and supporting my horse with the crowds of spectators.
Jessica Harrington’s Sizing John powered to victory in the Timico Cheltenham Gold Cup.
I had personally placed a bet for the favourite Native River, so was mortified to see him loose at the last hurdle, but the crowd was enthralled and it will be a memory I treasure for a long time.
Next plan is a visit to Ascot
