Stewarts Driving Team

Stewarts Training Academy 

Stewarts Coach Group have set up their own in-house training academy in an effort to bring fresh faces with the right attitude into the industry who not only have a passion for driving, but a passion to provide the very best customer service.

Stewarts will take you through the entire process from start to finish, guiding you through the minefield that can be the DLVA and DCPC so you can focus your time solely on learning.

Stewarts will book and pay for your tests, provide driving training with our in-house trainer, in our in-house training vehicle, and at the end of it all, offer you a position in their friendly and successful driving team.

Stewarts Operations Team

Due to our ongoing expansion, we are looking for TWO like minded candidates to fulfil the new roles of Operations Duty Controllers here at our depot in Woodley.

You will work on a rolling weekly rota (AM: 05:30 – 14:30/ PM 12:00 – 21:00), Monday to Friday.

Your main duties will include;
– Daily dispatch
– Driver supervision
– Overseeing vehicle cleanliness
– Yard management including parking

You do not need a background in coaching, but you do need to be friendly, have great communication skills, organised, punctual and be able to work in a team of people. Although it would be helpful if you have a PSV licence it is not imperative.

Stewarts Sales Team

Client Services Executive

We are looking to cover Maternity leave from Summer 2019 for a period of 9-12 months with possible extension.

Based at our depot in Woodley in Reading you will need to be someone that has experience of telephone sales and account management. Ideally you will have experience in the Transport industry.

Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing you will be responsible for day to day Sales.  You will be handling the entire sales cycle from initial call/ online enquiry through to booking and follow up.

This role will be primarily focussed on supporting returning business and as such experience with account management is preferred.

Your daily duties include:

  • Delivering sales against structured revenue targets.
  • Maintain returning client relationships.
  • Nurturing and developing new client relationships.
  • Administering quotations, bookings and additional booking extras.
  • Pursuing all quotations to achieve conversion targets.
  • Oversee client payments.
  • Any other ad hoc duties for the Sales Department in line with business need.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Quick learner with the determination to succeed.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Telephone-based customer service experience
  • Great communication skills
  • Friendly and enthusiastic approach
  • Able to work within a small, yet fast paced team

Competitive basic salary on offer with generous sales bonus. Attractive benefits package including pension scheme and 28 days holiday per annum. Hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30.
