Stewarts Training Academy 

Stewarts Coach Group have set up their own in-house training academy in an effort to bring fresh faces with the right attitude into the industry who not only have a passion for driving, but a passion to provide the very best customer service.

Stewarts will take you through the entire process from start to finish, guiding you through the minefield that can be the DLVA and DCPC so you can focus your time solely on learning.

Stewarts will book and pay for your tests, provide driving training with our in-house trainer, in our in-house training vehicle, and at the end of it all, offer you a position in their friendly and successful driving team.

HR & Office Administrator

Join us on the Journey…

We have an exciting opportunity available to join our team as a HR & Office Administrator. You will be responsible for the day to day management of our office, ensuring we operate our services to the minimum expected standards.
We are looking for a highly competent administrator who has proven extensive experience within a similar role. You will demonstrate the ability to handle multiple priorities with conflicting deadlines whilst ensuring a high level of detail and accuracy. Previous HR experience and Excel knowledge desired.

What you’ll do…
– Ensure all staff files are kept up to date and paperwork appropriately filed on an ongoing basis (i.e. driver’s exceptional achievements, any disciplinary related matters or accident summary) as provided by management
– On board new staff; administer all paperwork including contracts, DBS application, payroll set up and uniform.
– Participate and document formal meetings as advised by General Manager
– Collate data using Excel and prepare monthly reports for contract customers
– Schedule, promote, prepare agenda and minute driver forums on a quarterly basis and distribute minutes to entire workforce.

Allocations Manager

The Kings Ferry Group, part of National Express Group, are currently recruiting for an Allocations Manager who will be responsible for utilising resources to enable maximum levels of service delivery, ensure full compliance with company procedures, driver’s hours law and working time directives. The successful individual will manage and oversee all scheduling of transport resources (vehicles and drivers) effectively in consideration of customer service quality, cost effectiveness and legal boundaries.

We are looking for a highly motivated and flexible individual to deal with constantly changing demands within a fast-paced environment. You will have previous experience scheduling in a transport company and hold International Management CPC in Passenger Transport

Role Purpose:

  • Manage the prospective month’s schedule, overseeing frequently to ensure you manage the work load up and coming, taking note of any demanding days and planning in advance for those.
  • Manage the forward planning of driver’s rest days (in line with VOSA rules and regulations on Drivers Hours) ensuring that the availability of the drivers are met by the demands of the sales pending Private Hire demand
  • Manage and plan the allocations of vehicles around the vehicles booked, ensuring the booked sized vehicles match the booking request.
  • Ensure driver sickness/ tardiness is managed, between you and your fellow Operations Supervisor, manage return to work with the driver and future days’ work.
  • Ensure successful cooperation with Sales Team, ensuring the Operations can meet Sales demands in an efficient manner in line with company high standards of customer service
  • Issue and receive all driver documentation for international trips including tickets and away packs, ensuring that information and documentation contained is accurate and complete.
